Working to financially assist Hospitality Workers of the Cape & Islands who need assistance due to a tragic, unforeseen situation
Arthur Westfall
Arthur Westfall was an integral member of the hospitality industry of the Cape & Islands during the mid 1990’s. He worked his way up through the ranks – to become the general manager of Pufferbellies. Then tragedy struck our close-knit community.
Art was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 49. As with literally all of us at the time – Art did not have health insurance. Many of Art’s friends and families joined together to celebrate his 50th birthday/benefit with the first “Artie’s Party”. Before his death on August 15, 1996, we promised Art to continue the Art Westfall Foundation in order to assist others who find themselves in similar circumstances.
Since the inception of the fund, more then 28 years ago, we have been able to help over 100 individuals and organizations , we would like to do more. Please join us….friends helping friends.
